Highmark welcomes to the 2010 Fun, Fit & Fabulous women's health conference a dynamic selection of workshop presenters. These experts on women's health issues such as heart disease, physical activity, nutrition, time management, emotional health and environmental health are sure to provide you with resources to help you have a greater hand in your health.

Below are a few of the conference presenters.

Jennifer Antkowiak

Presenter: Caregivers Need Love, Too — Care for yourself while caring for others
Jennifer Antkowiak knows about caregiving. She’s a wife, mother of five, and step-mother to one. Jennifer would tell you that she feels blessed to have been a caregiver for her mother-in-law who died of cancer, and most recently for her father-in-law who died of cancer. Jennifer also knows how long-term illness can affect a family. Her mother had post-partum depression, and died of a heart attack at age 50. Jennifer’s experiences have fueled her passionate mission to help the world’s caregivers. Coming from a long career as an award-winning newscaster on Pittsburgh’s number one news station, KDKA-TV (CBS), Jennifer started her own company to provide multimedia messages and tools that help people keep themselves and those they love happy and healthy. She is the author of Take Care Tips which offers 101 easy, affordable 10 minute self-care strategies and , Caring Questions: Fun and Sensitive Conversation Starters for Caregivers. Jennifer is the morning anchor for KDKA TV (CBS) Pittsburgh. She writes a monthly newspaper caregiving column, and also writes for Web sites, blogs, and magazines, is a frequent guest on radio and television shows, and is in development of national multimedia caregiving projects and products. Jennifer is a caregiving coach and national speaker. She hosted her own weekly TV talk show from 2007-2009. Learn more about the Jennifer Cares mission at www.jennifercares.com.

Gloria Araya-Quinlan

Gloria Araya-QuinlanPresenter: "Fitness Warm-up and Workout Session"
Gloria Araya-Quinlan is an international presenter and choreographer who travels the world teaching and educating other professionals in the field of fitness and dance. Gloria is a constant advocate for living a healthy life in order to prevent disease. One of Gloria's trademarks is her ability to fuse art and health. Her goal is to spark creativity and inspiration through movement, and she uses dance as a main source for maintaining a healthy mind, body and soul. She has appeared as a co-host instructor on several television fitness programs, including on ESPN2, ESPN International and Jenny Craig's Jenny's Fit in 15.

Arelene S. Bobonich, M.D.

Presenter: "Ask the Doctor — Doctor's Guide to Good Health"
Arlene S. Bobonich is the medical director of PinnacleHealth Internal Medicine Associates and PinnacleHealth Inpatient Palliative Medicine in Harrisburg, Pa. In addition, she serves on the Highmark Physician Advisory Council and the Highmark Mid Atlantic Quality Committee. She is a Wellspan Health System-Palliative Care Liaison and a Wellspan Health System-Physician Compensation Committee Member. Arelene received her doctor of medicine degree from The Ohio State University-College of Medicine. She is noted for her medical lectures and consultations for companies such as Merck Company, Inc., Wyeth-Ayerst Laboratories and Pfizer Company.

Chef David R. Eshleman

Presenter: Cooking Demonstrations for chicken wellington and fruit smoothies
Chef David R. Eshleman of the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center will offer cooking demonstrations on how to prepare chicken wellington and fruit smoothies. Prior to joining the Hershey facility in June 2009, Chef Eshleman owned his own restaurant with his wife in Lancaster for eight years. Previous to that he interned with certified Master Chef Hartmut Handke in Columbus, Ohio, and also worked for some of the more prestigious restaurants and chefs in the area. Chef Eshleman also worked for a small independent chain in the southwest and opened five additional stores. Chef Eshleman is a Culinary Institute of America graduate and holds an accounting degree from California Lutheran University.

Dr. Lawana S. Gladney

Dr. Lawana S. GladneyPresenter: "Love Yourself — How to find balance in your life"
Dr. Gladney is a psychologist, speaker/trainer, and author. As CEO of Emotional Wellness, Inc. and the premier mind doctor, Dr. Gladney has presented speeches and training sessions throughout North America to educational institutions, businesses, organizations and churches. She is a television personality and has been a co-host of a cable show and an expert for Fox 4. She has been featured in the Dallas Morning News as well as other national magazines and radio programs. She was featured on the nationally syndicated Michael Baisden Radio Show and appeared as a guest expert for Baisden after Dark national television talk show. She was been featured in In Touch magazine to offer advice to celebrities such as Tom and Katie Cruise, and Brad and Angelina. She has also contributed to articles for several magazines and has written four books and co-authored four more. She is the founder and executive director of a nonprofit organization for women, The Six Million Dollar Woman's Club.

Ellen Kuntz

Ellen KuntzPresenter: "Let's Talk Health — Your Opinion Matters"
Ellen Kuntz is a Health Equity and Quality Consultant in the Health Equity & Quality Services area at Highmark Inc. In this position, she coordinates and drives corporate activities related to health literacy, cultural competency and health care disparities.  During her 20 years at Highmark, Ms. Kuntz managed the Service Quality functions within the Quality Management area and coordinated physician office staff orientation and training for the Alliance Ventures subsidiary.  Ms. Kuntz currently participates in regional and national workgroups addressing health literacy, including the America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Health Literacy Task Force and Strategic Planning Workgroup.  Ms. Kuntz received her Masters of Science degree in Health Care Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University in 2001.  She also holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Administrative Management from Robert Morris University.  Prior to joining Highmark, Ms. Kuntz managed a small physician practice.
